I followed a link from my friend's blog at http://www.gorbatov.blogspot.com/ and found these awesome video tutorials about Flash, Flex, AIR, ActionScript, etc. There is one video that I am particularly interested in which is about using AIR to capture photos through a webcam. I am also looking for some info on using AIR to send out SMS through a GSM Modem. Please let me know if you find someting about AIR and SMS. Thanks. The video tutorials are at:
